In 1974, the excavation project began of the undercroft with Warren Wilson, project manager in charge. 812 hours of labor were spent by volunteers doing the groundwork. Ralph Ingemundsen and Merle Sargent, masons, volunteered their expertise on foundation work. In 1979 the finishing of the project was undertaken with Douglass Prescott as architect, Robert Bodwell, chairman of the Building Committee, and Jim Van Valkenburg was the carpenter and builder. Completion of the Christian Education, Fellowship and Community Service facility was completed in 1980. All of the furnishings in the undercroft were donations from the Women's Union and Harmony Grange #99.
The church has a beautiful Christmas Creche that was made and donated by Kay Stewart and Evelyn Merrill.
Many prints, works of art, and photos have adorned the walls, loaned by Dr. Henry Andrews. Presently, there is a framed photo of the church donated by Mildred B. Shaw, Church Historian. Also on display are two photo collages of the memorial windows created and donated by Mrs. Shaw.
