Christian Education

Church School meets at the same time as the worship service. Children attend the first part of the service and leave for class after the Children’s Sermon. Nursery Care is provided for the full service and Confirmation Class is available.

As a small enthusiastic church with limited space, we currently are using "One Room Sunday School" and "Exploring Faith" curriculum that offers age appropriate flexibility and resources. For more information visit www.cokesbury.com. Our primary scripture resource is the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible.

Our Church School calendar runs from September to June, ending with Children’s/Youth Sunday Celebration where the children take part in the regular Worship Service. Child Care is provided during the summer for infants through Grade 2.

Our mission is to create a safe, caring atmosphere as our children learn while having fun. Through service, prayer, study and worship, they develop a strong faith foundation, relate to God and the faith community, and relate faith to their daily living.
